  32.  QMaster is an ARexx host which offer comands that can be accessed
  33.  from arexx scripts. QMaster provides comands to handle every aspect
  34.  of Studio 16's Cuelist files giving the arexx programmer full
  35.  control and making life much easier for the user.
  36.  
  37.  The comands allow you to alter cuelist entries, tracks, preferences,
  38.  remove, add, adjust, swap, copy entries and tracks, convert files to
  39.  and from other formats, and in conjunction with other arexx hosts
  40.  you can do automated processes, on-air organizing, connect with
  41.  other programs such as video- and musicediting software, databases,
  42.  networks, multimedia packages and so on, to influence the cuelist
  43.  files and more.

  45.  You don't have to be familar with arexx programming to take
  46.  advantage of what QMaster can offer. QMaster comes with several
  47.  arexx scripts that you can use just by double clicking their icons
  48.  or by starting them from cli/shell. More scripts will come in the
  49.  future.

  53.   QMaster provide more than 40 comands to handle Cuelists,
  54.   convert times, provide requesters, information, resource tracking
  55.   and more.

  57.   With QMASTER you can:

  59.    - create cuelist files from scratch
  60.    - read/edit existing cuelist files
  61.    - read/add/remove/cut/swap and alter tracks (Audio/AREXX)
  62.    - read/add/remove and alter entries (Audio/AREXX)
  63.    - read/alter and set preferences
  64.    - load (add) and save track (TRAX) files
  65.    - copy and paste tracks
  66.    - do statistic operations
  67.    - interface directly with the Amiga's global vars (SetEnv/GetEnv)
  68.    - add progressbars to your scripts
  69.    - add informal requesters to your scripts
  70.    - add file- and directory requesters to your scripts
  71.    - add string requesters to your scripts
  72.    - convert between SMPTE (PAL/NTSC) and seconds

  80.   QMaster is written in assembler to achieve optimal speed in
  81.   processing comands and content. QMaster has been through several
  82.   weeks of betatesting and proves to be stable.

  84.   The archive comes with several public domain arexx scripts which
  85.   you can run from Workbench as well as from cli:

  87.    AllToAny       - sets all play/rec channels to "Any"
  88.    AppendCuelists - merges two cuelist files horizontally w/ grouping
  89.    CMXtoCUE       - converts CMX EDL to Cuelist format opt. database
  90.    CountCuelist   - statistic info
  91.    DumpCue        - dumps info about all tracks/entries in cuelist
  92.    FindEntry      - search for an entry by keyword
  93.    FixPaths       - fixes entry paths if samples are moved on HD
  94.    GroupEvents    - search for keyword in events and group them
  95.    ListEntries    - dumps different entries used (one of each)
  96.    MergeCuelists  - same as Studio 16's built-in function with extras
  97.    NameToCue      - for fun, converts a string to cuelist 'letters'
  98.    ReplaceEntries - search by keyword and select new from requester
  99.    SampleTime     - shows SMPTE time in PAL/NTSC (AUTO) for a sample
  100.    StereoJukebox  - puts samples in a dir after one eachother on cue
  101.    StripEmpty     - removes empty tracks from a cuelist file
  102.    TestVideo      - test script to auto detect video system

  104.   You can also find tutorial scripts that show how to use some of the
  105.   comands in QMaster.

  119.   QMaster is shareware. Read doc file for current prices. The DEMO
  120.   version is crippled (clips at 4 tracks and 15 entries/track when
  121.   saving and contains a nerve requester).
